Spare me a fiver Guv?

Bank of England supremo Merv King has told banks to stock more £5 notes as they are circulating for too long and beginning to look scruffy and unkept.
This morning I obtained 4 spanking new sequential fivers from a Lloyds cash point, but its the only one I know that ever distributes them. Maybe its because its on the University campus?

Lib Dems making all the noise

I still find it highly curious that the "official opposition" haven't made more of the Al Yamamah story.
The Lib Dems have been the only ones in the news cycle to be speaking out on it and through their campaign website www.corruptionisacrime.com.
Whatever happened to Blair's ethical foreign policy? (I think it got lost somewhere in the Middle East...)

great weekend, crazy golf

Not blogged for a while as been fairly busy at work, and then evening meetings and weekends away...
Last weekend was spent in Teignmouth on my first visit to meet Vic's mum, and various friends (god mother etc). It was also an opportunity for Vic to get her hair cut, so I got a bit of a ribbing in her favoured salon. (I pretended to stick my head further into the Grauniad).
Teignmouth District Council have created a most brilliant crazy golf course on the front of the town. All the holes are named after local places and things, and each hole has quite distinct and special. There are the normal tunnels that get you close to the hole if you can hit them right, but also water features that actually get you hitting the ball over the water or along water shoots!
I managed a -1 under par 41 (including a hole in one), while Vic shot a 48.
